Ella Riar
Ella Riar, the daughter of peasants, dreamed one day that Tyr called her to be a knight. Neither knights nor fellow villagers took her seriously until one knight bandits raided her vilage. Ella, armed with a pitchfork, fought off the bandits in her home, then marshalled the villagers to barricade their homes and climb to their roofs where they drove the enemy back with a rain of stones, bricks, and manure. In recognition of her heroism, Ella joined the Beaver Order, a local group of noble knights. As a young, beautiful, single woman known to be an excellent cook, many of the male knights found her to be desirable as a servant. While pleasantly serving food, cleaning, mending and chatting with the male knights, Ella learned the ways of knighthood. One night, as she secretly practiced wielding a borrowed sword in her darkened tent, Tyr saw her faith and gifted her with Paladinhood. Her small home community is now behind her. Its obscure name and beloved local customs are unknown to those among whom she wanders. Warm, friendly, and brave, she is a natural leader, though far from home.
