In early adulthood, Kurt was wandering aimlessly through life. Doing what was necessary for him to survive, he learned certain skills to provide for himself. After learning that he had used these abilities to cause serious problems for good people, he decided to pursue another life, while Kurt like's people, he doesn't like the greed and corruption that humans in particular are plagued by. While he was traveling through a wooded grove, he stopped to rest and got to thinking that he would love to be a free of society as a druid. Closing his eyes to picture himself as a druid, he fell asleep and awoke. Taking a drink from a nearby stream revealed that his hair had turned green. Taking this as a blessing from Mielikki, Kurt has taken up the mantle of a druid, a protector of nature.
