Kalendas was raised along the coast. His parents were the caretakers of a large and successful orchard, owned by a minor noble. He learned the arts of the warrior here, as companion to the son of that noble. He does not speak much of his past, and those who do know him know little more than this. He is tall, with coal black hair, and the fair skin of the barbarians. He is covered in tiny star shaped scars (including three on his face). He wryly refers to these as the "astras" (star fall), although if asked will not elaborate on why. His presence is powerful and is most noticeable in his eyes. Cold grey eyes that appear to be of stone one minute, and of storm the next.
