Flavis is a heavyset Human Cleric who greets strangers with a ready smile and a sly wink of his eye. Now aged 50 his hair is graying and reduced to a long fringe around his temples. A Cleric of Tymora, Goddess of luck and adventure Flavis was the second son of a wealthy merchant. Never feeling at home with the business, he quickly fell into a life of gambling and indolence. After a misfortunate "misunderstanding" with some local authorities he was taken in by the temple of Tymora. It was there he found his true home (and a ready game of dice). Since those days he has had many adventures and the side of his close friends and has earned a title of nobility from Lord Dhelt of Elturel. He is now the High Priest of "Tymora's Respite" a small temple and hostel near the village of Ravenlock. **UPDATE** Ten years have gone by. Flavis, still the high priest of Tymora's respite is also a regular visitor to many of the temples of Tymora along the sword coast. He regularly travels incognito alone or with a young acolyte. Reveling in the opportunity to visit a previously undiscovered tavern and enjoy a drink, a song and a game of dice. He came to grips with his fame in the region by taking on the identity of "Bill" when on the road. This has provided him the freedom he craved to truly enjoy his travels. Of note to many is the fact that at age 60 he is little changed from his appearance at age 50. Many say that he is favored of Tymora and kept young by the Lady. When asked, Flavis responds with a wink, sharing that alcohol is a wonderful preservative.
