Morgrim is a warrior from a family of warriors. his grandfather once served as Warden of the Grey Wall for Baron Letos Von Gruben, a wealthy Northern noble with an eye for the ladies and a belly for ale. During a drunken argument with his own son, the Baron was "accidentally" killed by falling over and crashing through a serving table. the bread knife somehow managed to impale itelf into the old baron's back through a layer of padded armor. The baron's son called for the guards and was not pleased when Morgrim's grandfather arrived. The elder Bloodrune was viciously loyal and the way he began to treat the "accident" as a crime scene was not pleasing to the brash, new Baron. The Bloodrune family was evicted from the lands and sent into exile. A long hard trail followed, but suffice it to say Morgrim's gradfather and father each provided for their family through mercenary combat, and caravan guardianship. Morgrim was trained well, but left to seek his fortune at the age of 18. His arm is strong, his blade is sharp and his desire for vengeance, and the redemption of his family name are like twin guiding stars that will one day lead him to a Barony he's never seen, but one which holds his family's honor within its borders.
