Thebudunk Glunk

Thebudunk was been banished from his clan at age 25. For a long time his mother was the "Queen of the Pride" in Kuri-Kan-Kulk's tribe. She took ill aound that time and passed, leaving another to take the favored place next to the tribal leader. Thebudunk's father was an unwilling participant in his procreation, killed shortly after the time spent with his mother. The protection that allowed him to grow up without the abuse and turmoil half Orcs usually receive in Orc societies was gone. He was sold into slavery as he was seen as an outsider.

He remained there for the past eight years until one day a drunken slaver beat Thebudunk too hard with a whip. Thebudunk took the whip from him and strangled the slaver with it. After killing several other slavers that stood in between he and the open road, Thebudunk fled. He is not very bright and sometimes you have to tell him to do things twice. He is big, strong and well trained in the use of all types of weaponry as he was frequently sent to the fighting pits to be gambled on in battle. Not much gold was ever lost on Thebudunk.

During his time in the pits he learned of Tempus "The Foe Hammer" and disregarded Gruumsh who he thinks betrayed him along with his tribe.

Epilogue: Since leaving the slave pits and striking out on his own Thebudunk has grown some in stature and skill. Unfortunately he has not gotten much smarter and seldom realizes his connection to the changing fortunes of good and evil whence he travels. Still searching for that familial bond that was broken when he was a child he frequently pitches in with whatever group of adventurers courts his affections. When the present quest or conquest is over and the hoopla of the downfall of evil has diminished he generally finds himself alone again. Thebor then tries to enjoy the simple pleasures in life and has tried to educate himself. He has worked on being able to read and write (actually even learning to count to one hundred once.) Invariably he bores easily with these tasks and moves on, looking for more "friends" . . .
