Maskra Galanodel II

A young Elf sat down in the forest admiring the wilderness that surrounded him. Even though he had many, many friends he was not pleased with himself. His way of live seems to be missing something. I was missing Something but what?

Jormak had always been a good son. Did as her mother and father, would want him to do. Helped others and stayed out of trouble. He would do wrong only if he knew he would get away with it. And most of the time it worked. A quite young life I leaved. Always wishing for something else.

In school, even though I was a very intelligent young elf, I never did really good. My lack of interest always got on the way. History was horrible. I could never remember a name or a date. And frankly I did not cared. I would know just the basics of most subjects. But I loved Magic. My parents where Archers and did not knew anything about magic and did not cared for it either. I knew that if he stayed at Mag Mell I was never to become someone. I knew I would end up as most of my friends and most of my enemies. I would eventually become another warrior.

On a cold night wile in History class, Grazer was teaching about the great war, the battle against Sauron. I was almost as sleep, drawing spells on the dirt. Thinking of what to do after my schooling was over, thinking of what I would become in live. When all of the sudden I heard the name. I heard Elrond. The teacher had just announced that he had a guest speaker for that eveining. The speaker turned to be no other than Elrond. Elrond was one of the leaders of the great war. He was there, He looked Evil straight in the eye and laughed. A very powerful mage/archer, That night I did not get much sleep. I knew I had to do something, I knew I had to do something quick.

Mother ( I whisper ) Yes dear ( She replied ) I am moving to Alaam. I am joining the Holy Army of the Trinity. ( I said ) I still remember her face. I still remember how her eyes all of the sudden looked like 2 full noon reflections on a crystal lake. You are old enough to make your own decisions. Do as you pleased. You know I’ll always love you and we will be here for you. That’s all she said and when back to sleep.

For the next few weeks we did not speaked much. And even so I knew what she wanted to say. All she wanted was for me to stay. Soon after I was gone. I have done it. I left all that I knew and all that had become of me behind. I was now a soldier on the Army of the Trinity. Even from the very beginning I had influence on the ranks. I made friends quickly and never had any mayor problems. I still remember a little joke Eldolil, one of my superiors and me played some new guys He casted a cloud spell and I hid behind some trees wile we raplaced me with an pig. That will show you not to be 1 minute late next time ( Eldolil yelled ) poor bastards you should have seen their faces. I made rank quickly wile in Trinity. Because of this friends turned in to enemies. They had been part of the Holy Army two or three times more than me, and I was the one getting promoted. After a few years of service I heard the news. A messenger came baring news for me. My mother was sick and my dad was dying. They only had one request. To see me one last time. I followed procedure. Started asking permission to go and see my family. First I talked to my inmidiate superior. He denied it. So I went higher up, and higher, and higher. Finally I left. I have had it with the rules. My family needed me and I did not had time to waste. But I was to late. By the time I had arrived at Mag Mell, my father had died. And my mother was on a coma. She did not recognized me. She just stood there and looking at the sky. And later that night she joined my father in heaven. That day I made a promise, that day I sweared to the gods that the Trinity would paid for the actions. That day I turned in to….
