Mebri grew up in the slums of a large city. She learned her early skills from the gangs that ran the streets. She has scant regard for the law having seen it used as an instrument of repression. Mebri became disenchanted with the rapacity and mindless violence of the leaders' of the gangs. She left the city in search of her destiny.
