Angel
History: Angel's first memories are from an orphanage in cormyr, run by the priests of helm. He was given a name by the priests, but as he grew up in the orphanage he was nicknamed "Angel" by the other boys and girls in the orphanage, due to the fact that his facial features always remained boyish-like, and the nickname stuck ever since. as he grew up he decided that rather than leaving the orphanage he would join the order of helm, god of guardians. Angel never seemed, however, to enjoy the life of a simple priest and a little voice inside him told him that perhaps it was time to leave the temple and start to serve helm in other ways, as an adventurer. At first, it seemed, fate had different plans for him, to grow up and become a priest of Helm, since work always seemed to come by and Angel never seemed to find time to leave. One night, however, as Angel was out on one of his usual errands as a novice, the temple was raided by some unknown assassin faction. Word has spread out that the high priest of helm was corrupt and have fallen out with some assassin faction or the other, and the raid was a retribition. Either way, Angel found himself to be one of the sole survivors of the raid, and his faith in Helm has somewhat decreased. He found himself on the streets, fighting his way for his daily meal, sometimes thieving and doing other dubious works for some shady persons, It seemed as though this life will last forever. One day, however, while attempting a house burglary, the alarm was raised and he soon found himself been chased by the local militia. Upon fleeing from the militia, he was spotted by a follower of Akadi, who hid him and taught him the way of the Wind god. One day, however, his savior disappeared without a trace, leaving only a note that one day they would meet again, some money and a pendant depicting a bird flying over a cloud, the symbol of Akadi. Angel took these things and started out his life, first emerging into Waterdeep, city of splendors.
On the character: Angel is a priest of Akadi, god of the wind, flight, movement, air, and to some extent, trickery. As a follower of Akadi, his favorite weapons are light and preferably ranged. His main weapon is the short bow.
