Flint
Flint was raised by his mother, who was a maidservant to a very wealthy family. Although extremely poor, he and his mother lived in proximity to great wealth. Shortly after Flint's father left them, Flint and his mother moved into a servant's room in the basement of the large manor. Flint was co-opted to working for the family as well, although he was permitted each day to attend the wealthy children's private lessons, where he excelled in reading, math and writing. Over time, he became resentful that by no reason other than birth, he and his mother had nothing, while the rich family had everything. Including power over the poor. Flint decided that this was not fair at all, and thus, being very bright, he trained himself to take what he wanted in order to even out the balance of outrageous fortune. Flint has recently left to seek his own fortune in the world, having no family in the world since his mother's death...
