Handir has spent his entire life in the woods. His ancestors have always been rangers, protecting their small woodland area from the ravages of orcs and other vermin. Over the years, nearby settlements have harvested Handir's ancestral wooded homeland for lumber. As Handir reached maturity, there was little forest left for him to defend, so he has decided to move on and find a new home.
