The main reason he keeps on th'move ain't because he don't like people, not at all, but 'cause he has this queer knack o' hummin' a tune here an there, or sometimes it's more like an injun chant, he's been accused more often as not... and it has a real wieeerd effect on things that's real hard to explain. He's given up on 'xplainin' it even ta his own self, marks it up to his Irish roots in some ol' country ways no one seems ta pay 'tention to any more. And he hides it well as he can, fer durn sure!

When he's out alone or among very few on the plain though, an' he comes across somethin' unjust-like which more often as not happens out yonder, he's reeeal hard pressed to worry about hidin' those queer skills, and will usually do what it takes ta set things right. He knows after all that tales of such deeds will be spun, but not believed, especially when he gives 'em a little twist 'er two of his own to make sure they get laughed outta town....
