Gabriel has a checkered past and prior to becoming an adventurer for profit tried his hand at a number of trades but found the life of an adventurer more to his liking than the security a steady job seemed to offer. Prior to becoming a cleric of Tymora he could always be found in a tavern somewhere listening to the tales of other adventurers and making many...many notes on tactics and the manor of hunting all sorts of beasts but always the lure of great rewards held his attention. The local sect of Tymora in Waterdeep made available their library in which he was always reading and learning about the world and its ways and not surprisingly gradualy converted him to their deity and inducted him into the sect. A profound moment as it opened his eyes to paths he himself had never seen. A serious tactictian he probably would have joined the local guard had Tymora not called him to service where as now with his background the sect has a member who has experience with arms as well as dungeoning experience. A good combination for those tasks in which strength of arms is just as important as that of his faith. He is always looking for an adventure. Indeed his primary mission, aside from smiting heretics, is to seek out relics that might aid his sect and bring glory to Tymora and as always he is constantly on the look out for potential converts as well as any coin they may be willing to part with as well.
