Avanne Resh
At an early age, Avanne displayed an unusual amount of wisdom and a strange fascination with fire. Known for her sharp wit and her scathing tongue, Avanne was avoided by men who saw her as threatening and a challenge they did not wish to risk failure for. As she grew into maturity, she discovered two strange buds on her shoulder blades. Her mother looked on with silence, but clearly knew something she wasn't telling. When her mother fell ill several years later, she revealed to Avanne that her true father was not what she'd thought him to be. Her mother confessed that she had been fooled and had not realized that her father was, in fact, a dragon masquerading as a human. Her mother was clearly frightened by her past, but, as before she died, told Avanne that although some of her father was in her blood, she did not have to follow his anger. Almost as if a spark had lit across dry timber, Avanne's inner rage began to surface. After her mother died, Avanne's inner rage was directed towards her father for the many years of suffering her mother had endured. Channeling this hatred into a tangible form, Avanne's rage began to emerge as pure and utter hatred towards all dragonkind. She detested what she was becoming, but decided her transformation was a gift by which she would crush the foul reptillian race of dragons.
