At a distance one might assume she is a human child, but a closer look reveals a young woman halfling with a twinkle in her green eyes and a quick smile. Her shoulder-length raven hair falls in ringlets. Lithe and athletic, she moves gracefully. Her colorful, but dusty and slightly worn clothes compliment her appearance. She carries a flute, fiddle, and drum with her.
Born in the countryside outside the Yasmin Barony, Ana loved music, song, and storytelling from childhood. As a child, she spent many hours in the hills tending her family's sheep and milk goats. She passed time playing flutes and singing. One day a caravan passed close to where she sat singing. Amazed at the clear, sweet voice that carried across the hills, they stopped to listen. A bard of some renown happened to be among the travelers. She resolved to discover who owned this wonderful voice. When she found Ana, the bard went straight to Ana's parents and offered to teach the young halfling.
Some years later, Ana started her first year at Crimson Spire University. Much to the chagrin of her father and mother, who wished her to marry a respectable halfling farmer.
The loss of several dear friend in Ana's first months at the Spire have dampened some of Ana's originally optimistic view of life. She seemed to go through a period of mourning some months back. An astute observer will note an air of underlying sadness beneath her overtly happy-go-lucky exterior. On C.S. 10-14-1376, Ana was engaged to be married to Pavel Lightfoot originally from Ava, the capital of The Arcadia Empire, now a student at Crimson Spire University.
Ana loves meeting folk of all races. She thrives on entertaining people with music, stories, and juggling. Ana longs to learn about the wide-world. She seeks adventures and quests that include mystery, challenge, and companionship.
