Rupert Ampharen was my first DnD character ever.
Standing at 6'0 (~180 cm) and skinny stature he looks a bit more as a rogue than a fighter. However looks are not what he aims for but the inner strenght and belief that any one can reach any level of strenght and mind as they want. With this mentality, he can succesfully weild heavy weaponry and armor. However, mind power is not enough to make up for tender constitution, and Ruper often finds himself strugling after hits and putting a great emphasis on protection. His favorite weapon is the longsword, and he trie to learn how to weild two of them at the same time. Unfortunately he'd rather not give up his sheild, which is his pride and honor; a symbol of being a protecter of the weaker.
A mostly freelance paladin who roams the lands in search of innocents in need of help or assistance. He's obsesed with curing people and puts a big emphasis on healing magic.
He doesn't have much of a personal history because he dedicated his life to others, and as he says "People are what keeps me alive, without anyone to offer assistance I am useless, and have no purpose." He entrusted himself to Helm as his deity.
Some of his virtues are also his bad sides. He is stubborn, yet open minded, well manered, yet sometimes cynical and sarcastic, and very old fashioned (for modern standards). And no matter how much he needs help himself he will most likely refuse it because "If I cannot help myself in such a minor situation how can I make sure I will be able to aid others? I stay strong for my friends." In his life there was only one person whom he accepted help from. A battle wizard Mike McKinnon, his brother and the best fried he's ever had.
