Igrom
As a child, Igrom was taught to understand violence. His father was a high-ranking guard in a large city, and often made young Igrom sit and watch the executions. However, Igrom's father also had a quick and violent temper. For the smallest of reasons, or excuses, Igrom would recieve lashing after lashing, beating after beating, until the day that his father could not hurt him any more. Igrom was not a nasty child, in fact he used to protect the weaker children in the neighbourhood... for a small fee of course, however, his upbringing left him with the distinct understanding that violence was usually necessary and a good way to get what you want. He was feared by most, idolised by many, but understood by none. Perhaps that is why he left his home, or perhaps it was due to the beating he gave his father on the day he left. Whatever his reasons were, he left a trail of people who would NEVER forget his name. His personality is somewhat muted as he hides all of his emotions behind an image of pure invulnerability. However, those close to him will find that he is more scarred emotionally than he would have people believe. He despises people who choose to ridicule or intimidate those weaker than themselves, and has been known to react in an extreme manner. (A typical instance was when he assaulted a man who was seen striking his own son. The man lost conciousness at some point during the assault which was only halted due to the son screaming in terror. Igrom had fled the scene, slightly disturbed by his own actions.) Upon meeting him, he radiates an aura of instability, anger and ruthlessness. Later on, people may see a warmer side to him, but only if he respects them.
In recent years, Igrom has taken it upon himself to undergo a quest. A search for Star Gems. He refuses to explain the importance of these gems to him, but it is apparant that he does not wish to obtain them all for monetary gain. Nor does he want them for a purpose of power. It appears to anyone who knows him that he only wants these gems because he sees the acquisition of them as a challenge.... a challenge that is worthy of his destiny. Some people, however, have observed that he could be on a quest for self-destruction.
