Xeres was found by the Burning Tigers, a group of Evil Monks ruled by a Half-Fiend, Magoun. Magoun took it upon himself to "train" the fiend to be a great fighter and assassian. Beaten and tortured by the other monks for sport, taught him the way of shadow dancing away from his enemies and to assassinate when they were not looking. Xeres grew strong and found a special relationship with the Dark Goddess Shar whom he respected. The Burning Tigers decided for Xeres to uses his Dark abilites. Thus begins his journey to spread Darkness through Faruen.
