Trekken comes from a long line of dwarven rangers. Within the Anwar family, the ranger profession is highly regarded. Since he was young, his father taught him crucial ranger abilities of scouting, moving silently, and hunting. When he was old enough, he even followed is father on some of the hunts. Mostly orcs, trolls, or goblins were the prey, but every once in awhile there was a deadly villain who liked to hunt the hunter. Now, Trekken has come of age to make his mark in the world. If you need a scout or some tracking done, then Trekken is your dwarf, especially if you have to go down into a deep cavernous dungeon.
Although rangers are rare among dwarves, this profession is required to do some of the dirty work that is deep underground. If there is some mischief that happens in the mines, a ranger is sent in to track and hunt the problem. This work is often dangerous, because the mischief can be a cunning foe of stealth and treachery.
