Warren

The second oldest sibling, Warren was perhaps the closest to his father. Similar in many ways, it was Warren who took the greatest interest in farming and from an early age could often be seen helping his father with whatever chores he could manage. Warren looked up to his father as though he were a god, and his Father cherished him for the eagerness he showed in the family tradition, and for the company he provided during the long, tiring days in the fields. During the seven years they knew each other, an especially close bond formed between the pair.

Of all the siblings, it was inevitably Warren who took his father’s death the hardest. Since that day, he has changed almost unrecognisably. Where there once was an eager, light-hearted boy, there is now a quiet and subdued figure. It has often been said of him that he is now only a shadow of his former self. Since his father’s death he has applied himself more vigorously than ever to the farm, often working long into the night during the harvest months, as if he is still striving to please his father. It has also been noted that as he works, his lips barely stop moving, as if he were constantly talking to someone. Someone who is no longer there.

Years of strenuous labour on the farm have had great impact on Warren’s body; his muscles are well-built and he is in very good health. Despite this, though, his figure is not at all imposing, his posture submissive, his head hung as if in defeat. It is as if despite all his effort, he fails to live up to the standards his father, in his mind, has set him. Though attractive, with beautiful hazel eyes and long, unkempt hair Warren prefers to spend his time alone in the fields rather than among his family or others in the rural community. That's not to say that he does not care for them though - indeed, with his father gone Warren feels it is his duty to protect the family, which he does with zeal.
