Observer of all that is good in the world, army sergeant Kelsati Nexiri, or Kel as her friends call her, strives to uphold the law...when it is just and fair. A child raised in an orphanage, she knows no family but her strong sense of right and wrong was early determined the first time she saw gangs of ruffians abusing other children simply because they could. Joining the King's forces, Kel is now a sergeant in the military hoping for the chance to receive further training. She is obedient to a fault and notice of her skills and abilities has caught the eye of her commanding officer.
