Raised in the forest by magical fey after his parents were apparently killed during an orcish seige on his homeland, this adventurer has a stronger tie to nature than that of other people. When hearing word of the exploration, Gilthanas decided to take up the quest in order to make sure no careless species destroy that which is precious to him. Though fairly tolerant of other, more barbaric beings, he doesn't appreciate waste or unnecessary use of the wild. Because he was grown out of nature, he feels only he has the right to use such measures. Not really requiring his weapon of choice for everyday affairs, Gilthanas is looking forward to this new chance to sharpen his skills.
