He was found on a battlefield. It was immediately evident that he was different; the signs of his alien ancestry are instantly obvious to any who view him. For that, he was often reviled, and this caused him to withdraw from people. He found an outlet in magic, which to him flows through his fingers like the notes played by a skilled bard on a stringed instrument. He seeks neither good nor ill of anyone; mostly he just wants to find meaning in his life, for who and what he is. His community name is not so much due to any particularly bad behavior on his part, but more from the expectations that his unusual appearance breeds in people.
