Tankard is the drunken disgrace of proud dwarven family that has spent the centuries toiling in their mines. After 50 years of tutelage under his grandfather's watchful and critical eye, Tankard came to realize that he was not blessed with the gift to craft that his family was so well known for throughout middling. But 'Tank' as he would come to be known had other gifts. With little wit, he did not endure the taunts and criticisms of his brothers and learned to use his fists to end the arguments. When he could finally take it no more, Tank was the first in his families history to leave the mines and strike out on his own. The dwarf now sells his swordarm for enough gold to keep the swill-that-the-humans-call-ale flowing.
