Down on his luck and nigh desperate, Bender is the disowned bastard offspring of some important official somewhere. "Yeah, I was born with a silver spoon in my mouth. My father was trying to choke me to death with it." He lives on the streets, from job to job, always hoping for the take that will be so high and mighty that he'll show up all the losers who kicked him when he was in the gutter.
