Born and raised on the island of Ixinos, and like all men, Torval was considered little more than breeding stock. He was especially coveted due to the blood of a dragon that runs through his veins. Since men are not allowed to be wizards, his sorcerer powers were sealed by magic. With his power locked away, he yearned to be free, to feel the magic in him come to life. To him, having this power blocked off was worse than death. Worse than leaving his life behind.
