As a youth, Ascalante spent much of his time studying in libraries and universities across the land. As he grew older he was influenced my his bolder freinds to leave his studies for a more adventurous life. He quickly learned that he was adept at putting his arcane learnings to use in combat, and gained a thirst to learn newer and more powerful spells and abilities. He now journeys throughout the land seeking powerful secrets, artifacts and to test himself in the face of adventure.
