Abia was the only child in a simple farming family. When she was 16 her parents were murdered by bandits. She spent the next few years taking care of herself, building her self-discipline and keeping fit with farm duties. Her isolation from the rest of the world led to a close relationship with the God Isis, her family’s deity, but left her with little social skills. After the destruction of her farm by a flood, Isis came in her dreams pressing Abia to move on and serve her God in civilization.
