Little is known about Da''Khan, as he seldom ventures to cast much light on his own past. He was born "Damanius Kane," a resident of a small town of mixed races. At a young age, he joined a monastery. It is suspected that he joined the Mal''Itzun Monastery, which would tie in with thoughts of his own lineage descending from the Kane family of the town of Mei-rue. None of this has ever been confirmed or denied, however.
It is clear that something went terribly wrong for Damanius at the monastery. His own brief words on his time there indicate that he spent a mere two years in its halls. He emerged with exceptional proficiency in the training of a monk considering the little time he spent at the monastery. But he also emerged with the name Da''Khan, and with no official affiliation to any monastery, Mal''Itzun or otherwise.
Da''Khan now travels various lands. If he has a destination, it is unknown to anyone but him, and his path shows no rhyme or reason. He becomes involved in the inhabitants of many civilizations that he comes across, though again his reasons for such are never given. One might think that he in on a quest of atonement, but he never speaks in such a manner, indeed never even refers to the identity of his unknown god. His predispositions are difficult to define or predict. He seems to gravitate towards maintaining the order in all things he encounters, but little more than that can be said.
Da''Khan carries with him, always, a set of bound tomes. As with everything else, he is secretive about their contents. It is clear that the tomes themselves have a magical air, and Da''Khan reads their writings with apparent fluency. Whether and how any of this may tie to his own past is unknown.
