Escaping from a life of dreary nobility and an arranged marriage, Korus took a stage name and left his father's lands to carve out his own fame and fortune. The road has been a difficult one as he's not adjusted well to a life without the trappings of royalty and as of late, he's hired himself out as adventurer and songsmith extraordinaire to pay the bills. He's fancy with a pair of blades and a marksman of throwing knives but his rhyme and meter are far from the target...depending on who you ask. His abstract style has angered a number of purists on the bardic circuit and some establishments won't let him a foot through their door. He brushes aside his critics and is quick to name his wealthy benefactors, although his empty purse might call into question the validity of his boasting. Korus is always willing to jump into a fray to showcase his talents as long as he won't wind up on the sharp end of overwhelming odds. He can be selfish but is capable of noble deeds...the kind that wind up being the focus of his stories. His companions are always well-represented in his tales and has a knack for stroking the egos of others. A sharp tongue, a quick mind and a keen sense of humour makes him fast friends but a lack of good common sense of his part often gets him into more trouble than he bargained for.
