You have known Filch all your life. You know that he feels somewhat out of place in this human village of Greenvale. You know that he was discovered one stormy night long ago wrapped in swaddling on the steps Old Lady Grindewald''''''''s front porch. You know that he got his name from the old woman because of his quick hands and darting eyes. You know that after her death six years later and the subsequent looting of her estate by greedy relatives, that Filch was left to fend for himself. You know that he hs learned a number of unsavory skills and honed a few delicate abilities in order to survive. You know that he is in trouble with village officials quite a bit. You know that he is looking to get out of this nowhere town. You know too that he has sworn to you his friendship, and as far as Filch is concerned, that is all you need to know.
