Cullyn Talsol
Me, you ask? Me and my life so far are really not that exciting. Why else do you think I have taken to the road aside from spreading the word of Lathander?
I will give you my life in brief; how is that?
I was born into a family of armorers and weaponsmiths where even my mother swung fiercely at the anvil. Very little leather work. If it was not metal, we mostly shunned it. Both Massandra and Kietz raised me well I think. Certainly better than most of my companions at the time. My brother, Larnn, and I were raised by the forge, but we both grew to feel very differently about it. While he relished in the glowing darkness and heat, I longed to run free in the sun. While both he and my parents shrugged off the wounds that come with working a forge, I sought to heal them whether they were theirs or mine own. It was not long into my true apprenticeship that I met in the nearby town three Priests of Lathander. That was the turning point in my life. What they tought and showed me awakened a burning in my heart that I already had known churned there. While my parents did not discourage my nightly meetings with them in the inn, I could tell they were unhappy. They could tell that they were losing me. Not my love for them; my love for the forge no that there was much there to begin with. Eventually, of course, my link to the Morninglord moved on, but they left me with the knowledge and drive I needed to venture away from the forge and into the dawning sun. I did not know then, when I left my family sadly behind, what I would face across the realm. People would not always listen to the praise of Lathander. Creatures and beasts chased me from the quiet and hidden nooks where I tried to find a moment of solace on the road. I know now what I face, and face it I shall with a brave grimace and a stout heart bolstered by my love for Lathander. I will spread the sun to those dark areas of this world. I will protect and heal those that cannot do so for themselves. I will make this world a safer place from the vile evil that lurks in the shadows, both living and otherwise.
