Merric Elundale is the son of Simon Elundale, a human mage, and Arowynna Merrick, an elvish ranger. Initially Merric was interest in following his mothers trade of being a forest warden for the district. But his talent for magic soon presented itself and these new found talents soon took over his interests. He became a pretty good shot with a bow and crossbow and likes to hunt occasionally. With his mother being a ranger Merric is well versed in camping and has a fair knowledge of woods lore.
