Daeris
Daeris grew up with his twin brother, Kavik. The two were close, but very different. His brother was the free spirit of the two, much to the frustration of their parents, while Daeris was the model child. A year ago, his brother set off to explore some distant caves, and never returned. After a heated argument with his parents, Daeris, the former perfect son, has now set off to explore the world, and perhaps discover the fate of his brother. Once very gruff, his brother's disappearance has caused Daeris to realize that life can be short, even for a dwarf. Thus, while gruff at times, a cheerful nature peeks through, and he is quick to rib those to whom he feels close.
