NWCon Feature The Labyrinth of The Goblin King [02:00 PM 04/17/04 GMT]
Roleplay an orc yes all PCs are full orcs using the h orc model The Guntaak one of the oldest tribes had lived in peace and harmony with the cave dwelling goblin horde for centuries Until one fateful day a goblin warband came to the Guntaak settlement under flag of truce to trade Once within the perimeter the king barked the for his warriors to attack and the bloodbath which ensued saw the majority of the tribe slaughtered A member of a small hunting party that day destiny saw you escape the fate which befell your unfortunate clan On seeing the smoke rising from the trees you arrived to survey a scene from a nightmare your village destroyed bodies littering the earth All the NPCs will be DM possessed and roleplayed Please bring your best orc roleplaying Note Requires NWN SOU HOTU and a small HAK well under a meg You can dl the hak now in RAR at http nwvault ign com Files modules data shtml but I plan to post the hak in zip in the NWCon Vault profile in the next few days The Party A balanced party is required Race Restrictions All PCs must be Half Orc In game however you are all considered to be full orcs unless you have a specified a background of h orc Rememeber however a h orc in an orc tribe will face the same biases that a h orc in a human society faces Class information All classes are supported with the exception of Paladin which does not fit with this setting Alignment restrictions All alignments supported however co operation with the group is vital Remember you are part of a tribal community and fiercely loyal to your comrades PC Backgrounds You are a Guntaak Orc who fate spared that fateful day of the Goblin raid Describe the character you wish to play in terms of class personality and alignment A short paragraph will suffice Ensure that you stick to the context of this session Setting This game is set in a custom world dont expect any conventions from other settings to be adhered to Assumed Knowledge The Might of Hugaash A symbolic sign of the tribes power and wellbeing wielded by the founder of the tribe hundreds of years ago It is prophesied that when the sword is taken in battle the tribe will fall OOC Area All PCs will be automatically increased to level and given GP to equip in the OOC area prior to game start Character Creation Orcs Please use the Half Orc race when creating your character and ensure you use green skin tone A STR and CON bonus will be granted by the DM before the adventure begins to reflect the strength and resilience of the Orc Hak Pak At tiny MB Hak is required Please download and extract to your NWN hak folder http nwvault ign com Files hakpacks data shtml Special Rules Death When you reach HP you are effectively knocked out and will proceed to Bleed to giving your comrades a chance to heal you before you die Examine the special death items which you receive when you first join the game for more information Rest No restrictions hardcoded however recommend rest as a group and perform suitable checks on potential sites before resting and await DM feedback Otherwise who knows what kind of trouble may stumble across the party whilst asleep In Game Conduct Stay in character at all times If necessary use Tell with OOC Out Of Character prefix Try and avoid general OOC outbursts unless absolutely necessary The less OOC chatter the better the game Stay together as a group Dont rush Only run if it is vital that you do so in character Use the Party chat channel for normal communication Avoid abusing this by talking whilst outside of normal hearing range Abuse will be punished by the DM you have been warned If you need to shout or whisper use emotes to accomplish this shout oh my word Use the DM channel if you wish to communicate with the DM The DM will have exclusive use of the Shout channel which will be used to relay narrative when required Please make use of checks either via the PC Dice Bag or emotes puts ear to ground listening for footsteps Credits Tony Cubed Statue of Fire Lazybones Trap corridor and portcullis Lilac Soul Script Generator Dungeonmaster Friendly Initiative Wand Package Jason Robinson OnClientEnter Script Whistler Demitrious HABD
