Moondrake Isle - Session Three [02:00 AM 01/09/07 GMT]
After our heroes emerged from the sewers with a rescued corpse of a child, they came across the druid Claea. Claea helped them in raising the child from the dead, and then decided to join the valiant explorers. After finding out there were goblins on a nearby island, Jimin insisted they sail out there even though the pilot was a soused drunk. After dealing with the shipbuilding goblins, they discovered a journal which mentioned something called the orb of the mind, which they assume is part of the primal conjunction.
They then set out to help Drake’s Port further by delving into the recently cursed catacombs outside the city walls. They learned a bit more about the mysterious Loric from a pixie roaming the area, then descended. At first balked by strange talking doors, Vinny managed to convince the evil portals they were undead agents of the master, and they went on to clear out the place, defeating some kind of vampire or something who possessed a strange magical tube.
They returned to the back of the tomb, and descended through a small hole dug in the floor, down a ladder into a cave system.
They rested by a svirfneblin woman who seemed to be a bit lost, but who had strange magical items she was willing to sell. What is next? Will they acquire all the parts of the conjunction? What exactly can be found in the caves they find themselves in? And what of the orc-filled forest which is now above their heads? Will the foe succeed in breaching the defenses of Drake’s Port? Only time will tell.
