With the fall of the Rotting Man, the Great Druid of Leth, self-titled Nentyarch, is leaving Yeshelmaar to return to Rawlinswood and the ruins of Dun Tharos. However, to guard this once-home, a new Druid’s Grove must be consecrated to join the Web. To do this a Guardian must be Called to take his/her place in the Grove, providing the land with magical strength and focus.
A group of diverse Druids are Called from across Toril, for the Web itself has plans for this new Grove. For long ago, in a time that is now almost legend, a great Evil was committed. So disturbing was this Evil that the very Guardians of nature itself fled in despair and anguish. The Evil festers, waiting for its chance to expand again and destroy the Web for the last time time.
