Welcome to the Universtiy of Crimonspire Most of ye are students in these hallowed halls of higher learniing Among the student body are some who are citizens of the Spire the best and brightest chosen from among the public education system to attend the University Others among you are exchange students from other races found through out the realm and yet others are emm well shall we say research subjects and objects of study Whatever the reason you are one and all attending school there On an afternoon for your various reasons you are hanging out in the Commons where you happen to overhear a discussion among a couple of fellow students about strange and unusal events taking place in the small villages and woods surrounding the campus Whether ye are bored or just have lots of free time on your hands and even more curiosity you and a group of fellow students decide to head off campus and look into the matter On your trek through the woods a mystery has begun to unfold itself in the Barrow Woods near Yasmin provience dryads are attacking the group and in large numbers You have come across some smoldering ruins the remains of a burnt out village where a few survivors huddle No food no home they tell you of an attack by the dryads But an entire village gone Smoldering Could it have been merely dryads Concerned you march on trying to piece it together At last you get to Yasmin Keep and meet the young Baroness barely older than yourselves she is the youngest ruler in the land Trained in voice and music a bard she views the assorted crew with delight always curious about folk her own age Aye mayhap she s even now got her eye on recruiting a couple of you to her cause running slaves south to freedom While there she is distressed to here the events and all of you think something surely has to be behind this There you all lay plans for trying to figure out how to get to the bottom of this mystery
