Schatten9's Top 5 Dm Choices
If more than one name appears under a number this means that they acted as a Dungeon Master Team. That is the only way a Dungeon Master should be listed more than once on a list.

1st Place
  AlexanderFrost

Comments:
Frost jumped among NPC's, carrying on several simultaneous conversations with different PC's, in addition to role-playing an NPC that accompanied the group. It was great to see the DM respond to all the little things the characters did, adjusting the story for the unpredictable ways we chose to deal with events, and even allowing me to make checks for my Druid involving his nature-sense and close ties with the animals. The tree-jumpers were great, and the build up was perfectly timed, with little messages from the DM and random sounds to indicate something was there. A great story, lots of fun, and sufficiently eerie build--I can't wait until next session!

2nd Place
  Demetrious
  dreamtheatre

Comments:
Although this was only an orientation game to prepare for a lengthy campaign, Demetrious and Dreamtheatre did an excellent job keeping things developing. The NPC's were first-rate, and the gap in our party was nicely filled by Dreamtheatre's rogue. I enjoyed the different personalities of the NPC's hoping to be selected for the mission, and the interaction with them felt as though there were several other players online just there to act those parts. The DM's did a great job organizing play and introducing the PC's into the game on an individual basis, adding to the realism. I'm really looking forward to next session!

3rd Place
  Tarridus

Comments:
Although this was only our first session, it was evident from the beginning that Tarridus put a lot of time into preparation. Things ran very smoothly, he dealt with situations fairly, and he kept the NPC's actively involved with the characters. This DM worked hard to keep things flowing and interesting, staying involved instead of sitting back and watching. Innovative, intriguing, and fun, this was a great start to the campaign!

4th Place
  Jehaine

Comments:
Jehaine ran a fluid game and I was impressed that she managed all six of us. Keeping track of that many players at once is rather chaotic, I've found while DMing, but Jehaine made sure everyone was involved. Her NPC's were well done, and since I didn't know who the PC's were, I found myself confused as I had thought a few of the NPC's were actually party members when we all first met up in the tavern. Jehaine kept the game moving and added some nice touches, including a custom item to allow a subrace into the game. It was unfortunate that a faction problem occured near the end, but other than that, the game ran extremely well and it was a very enjoyable experience. I would definitely recommend future games with Jehaine DMing!
